I'd suggest 10 - 14 days. You'll also need a host of your personal financial documents like life insurance papers, faxes from your bank(s) with account numbers and balances, employment verification (pay stubs won't do). Overall a nice property, but the application process was nervewracking it took so long. I called day after day after day, how's it coming...sorry, nothing yet. I finally gave up on it and moved elsewhere. When I called them and broke the news all they could say was

Apartment Reviews - Suntree, kansas city

Suntree
3040 Suntree Palza
Kansas City, KS

Overall Rating: 1 (out of 5)

Review: There isn't anything really good to say about the apartment. There is a security door on the front, that the closer is always broke on, so thus anyone can walk into the building. The laundry facility's are practically non existent. they have more than enough washers and dryers per building but usually only one is working at a time, the others are turned over or marked out of order. The playground equipment is archaic, there is no gate on the playground. the benches that look nice from the street view actually have no seats in them. the swings are so old the protective rubber coating that goes over them has worn off, so your child will be swinging on a sharp rusty metal strip. They did put a brand new sign posting the play ground rules up, one of them being...to close the gate that isn't there, but look close so much grass and weeds growing up.. you couldn't see the gate if it was there. The air conditioning units are continually going out due to age, don't expect it to be replaced with a good one, they just pull them out of another apartment. To wait on the office staff to send a maintenance worker to look at it is usually 24 hours, so if you want a comfy day in August, expect to be a bit warm, the windows don't have any screens on them so when you open them to get a breeze expect the mosquitoes to fly in from all the air conditioning water dripping in the tall pampas grass they never trim. Actually the electrical wiring of the apts. are a bit scarey also.. Worry about fire hazards, do to the chirping smoke detector in the hallway, due to low battery. The maintence people were in and out, one remarked.. what is that chirping sound. Yeah safe and smart, that is the staff. Stray cats everywhere. Police being called on a regular basis. When you can actually find parking, the parking looks like a auto mechanic shop with all the oil and car fluids that have leaked and never been cleaned. Oh wait a mechanic shop is cleaner. The office staff is rude, unhelpful to solution finding for the problems in this property. They don't fix anything, and when they do it is just patched over.. you might want to look for mold in the apartment, if you have mold allergies, due to pipes in the ceiling, leaking repetively. This place should be shut down. Oh if you think of renting here..don't look at the office to make your judgement. Or the apartment that they show you, it wont be the one you get. They just spent over a million dollars, according to the office staff on renovations, but the only thing renovated that I see is the office itself. When you go down the unkept path to the pool it is almost like walking through the woods to your favorite swimming spot, however you might find dirty diapers laying on a table, drain filters that work inadequate, hair and debree floating in the water, broken life saving equipment, total mess. The old swimming spot at least had water running to carry the debree downstream, here you swim in it.Live here? Only if you have no other alternative. But if you look you may find one that, will best suit you...This place needs a upgrade, management change. And most of all...repair.

Apartment Reviews - University Villa Club Apts, kansas city

University Villa Club Apts
3044 Francis St #102
Kansas City, KS

Overall Rating: 1 (out of 5)

Review: Very dirty, and the management and office staff are allways there to listen to your complain, they do listen but i don't think they understand cause you can wait for days for some thing to happen but it will never, i just stop complaining and i can't wait to move out at the end of my lease. the hallway carpet is a mess, allways an assembley of suspicious people in they car listening to music late at night. i don't know if the pool is being cleaned. My advice: Ask around before moving.
