Review: I?ve searched all over KC and have yet to find an apartment that offers this much and that?s this conveniently located for this price. I pay $860 a month for a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom with almost 1000 square feet, full size washer and dryer, built-in microwave, crown moldings, vaulted ceiling if you?re on the top floor, fireplace, walk-in closet and ceiling fan in the master bedroom, carport, trash pickup, private entrance, balcony, and fire sprinkler system. The apartments are prewired with an alarm system which requires a small monthly fee. They?re also prewired for Everest. There are also private garages available for an extra monthly fee.The complex looks beautiful, the grounds are very well kept, and the neighborhood is very quiet. There?s a fitness center and swimming pool. It?s very easy to get to I-35 and I-435, except on weekday mornings when traffic on Pflumm gets a little busy.I?ve rarely had any maintenaince issues, but the few times that I did, they were taken care of immediately. The office staff is excellent and will go out of their way to help you.The only complaints I have is that, like any other apartment, there?s not enough closet space, and if you don?t live on the top floor, you can hear the people above you walking around. The fitness center isn?t that big and there aren?t any tennis courts, in case that matters to you.But overall, this is an excellent apartment. I seriously doubt you will find anything this nice in Olathe or Overland Park for the same price. Pinnacle Pointe has spoiled me. Now wherever I go, I?ll expect an apartment complex to be this nice and this affordable.

Review: more mexicans than parking spaces, and i'm not kidding. i have to buy an alarm for my car. our door lock has been broken for 2 months. the tolet is leaking. infested with ants. power never stayed on for more than a week at a time for the first 3 months. hot water went out and we called the office and it took them more than 6 days to get here to light the pilot. there is only dead bolts on the doors, very easy to break into. the police show up in our parking lot atleast every other week hauling away some poor fool. parking is horribable, i have to park away atleast two complexes down from the one i live in everynight. too expensive for the actual worth. 2 bedroom for 570 a month and having to put up with this crap.

Review:Very well described as a clean place to live, great neighborhood, but lacks in staff; an unprofessional attitude is most common with the management. Reguardless of on-time payments or hassle-free rentalship the lease is unbending and you can be evicted for the outstanding sume of $5.00 or less. The pool area is rather clean though, but this realization doesn't outweigh the fact that my mother was harrassed by the man who lives on the third floor. Also my car was towed two hours before the time stated on the notice I recieved. When I questioned the assistant manager she nearly screamed at me. I guess it wasn't her fault that she placed a notice on my car stating the exact time and date of tow. Every time we take a shower we have to wait until the next day for the water to drain out. We do not dare to hang a full-size towel on the towel rack; it will break under the immense pressure. All said and done, we love this place.

Review: I honestly don't know how they stay in business, the 2 office ladies are very rude and uncaring.I work in the customer service industry and believe me, this is something they are greatly lacking.I would advise anyone interested in Mullen rentals to think twice.

Review: I won't live anywhere else until I purchase a home. There's no place like it in Lenexa for your money. Great office and maintenance and great workout room with racquetball, tennis, basketball, year-round swimming pool and jacuzzi, sauna etc... Definitely worth every penny!

Review: The apartments were fine when I moved in.But it seemed that the maintenence done was only to cover up but after a couple weeks, everything started to show up.When maintenance were called in they said everything was fine and I ended up having to have my husband fix it.I would never recommend these apartments to anyone.

Review: I moved to KS from far away and didn't have much money when I got here, and so was restricted to places low in cost and not needing much of a deposit. I was pretty desparate. I am looking foward to moving out because I make good money now. The units are old, the plumbing is LOUD, noise transfers easily. Even smells from other units. Cheap, old linoleum, cabinets, closets. Few windows, on one side only. Bathroom is a dark little hole. Poor ventilation. Due to the price, riff-raff are attracted. I mean people in gangsta pants and pimped out 1983 Cadillacs and boom-chigga-boom-boom music and what not. People coming and going, standing outside drinking beers and blabbing to homeys on cellphones into the night. Very multicultural. But, unless you are unlucky and move next to a particularly loud/young/partying neighbor, the place is quiet enough. Sometimes there is lots of trash blowing around outside. People can't seem to make it to the dumpster sometimes.But to be honest, it wasn't bad for the money given my situation. Though I had multiple plumbing issues, like toilet not flushing and shower very weak, the problems were fixed promptly. The key is being polite when asking for help.The place is just old and average. That's why it's inexpensive to move into and cheap rent. Not bad for college kids or first apartment, or part time construction worker or gangsta wannabee.I haven't had any personal problems with other tenants. People generally are OK and don't want problems.Management company is currently in profit milking mode. The place is old, probably the financing is paid for. Now they just want to collect money. Reluctance to upgrade, remodel, fix potholes on sidewalks, etc. Also no mail drop.To summarize: OK for the money, depending on your situation. But I really, really can't wait to get a nice place. With lots of windows, a garage, professional neighbors, etc. Also sick of hearing people in other units slam cabinets and flush toilets, etc. And I hate those pimped out 83 Caddies and low riders changing oil in the parking lot!P.S. a couple times I forgot and left my Trek bicycle outside my door overnight! Unlocked even. It was still there in the morning, both times. I travel a lot, am away frequently, and no one has messed with my apartment that I'm aware of. I also have a motorcycle that has not been messed with yet. Also, office staff few for so many units.

Review: I just recently moved to The Crossings and I really like it! 87th Street and Quivira is a very convenient location and I also feel very safe there. The staff could be a bit more knowlegable but they are quick to handle service requests. I sometimes here music from the apartment below me, but that is to be expected when living in an apartment. Overall my experience has been good.
