We've always been treated with respect by all of Plaza Garden's employees. The townhouse apartments are truely wonderful for the price. I haven't heard anything negative from anyone else who lives around us either. My husband has heard a few rumors about the owner, but who knows how true they are. I'm wondering why I keep reading all of these negative reviews on different sites about Plaza Gardens. We plan on renewing our lease for another year when it's up. They have a serious bug problem. I was constantly seeing spiders and cockroaches in my apartment. I complained to the staff who would send someone to spray, but it never helped. Speaking of the staff, they dress in a very trashy way. And the manager has a real attitude. Another thing that bothered me was that I?d always see nails and screws in the parking lot. I think the nails were falling off the roof of the carport and a lot of tenants would be working on their cars and would leave nails, screws, soda cans, and other trash all over the place. I eventually got a giant screw stuck in my tire and had to change it right there. I complained to the staff, but saw no improvement. The apartments themselves are spacious, but nothing special. There?s not enough natural sunlight, the carpets are bad enough where you don?t want to walk around barefoot, and the tiles in the shower look they?re ready to fall off. ( and I am a clean freak so I know it has nothing to do with me)They do a very poor job of cleaning up the apartment before you move in.They said they remodeled the bathrooms before we moved in and it looks like someone did a piss poor job because the tile is chipping and falling apart and the stand up shower looks like it is from the 80's.The only advantage that you have is being able to save on utilities because they pay for them all.You can't even have a bbq. I got one up only 6 stairs and I have a balcony. It's right over the row of garages that I know when people come and go because the opening of the door sounds like thunder. My towel rack in the bathroom bent in half the first time I straightened the towel on it.

My first maintenance call took only one day to be repaired. The second one took two calls and two weeks. The third took three calls an "I give up" and a month and a half of waiting. Not one of them did I get a return call on so I would know when they were going into my apartment.

They don't throw salt down after the ice storms and they certainly don't shovel any snow from sidewalks or steps. They don't trim the tree branches that nearly poke your eyes out when you go into your building.

Can't wait to move!!

The manager was very unhelpful and never responsive to your needs. She was never in the office, and if she was she was always on the phone with personal calls. The assistant manager was available, but of course was not helpful either. They were very unfriendly. The only staff members that was helpful and friendly was the maintenance employees. They were always available to help you if you needed something, and worked very hard to keep the grounds neat and tidy. If you are looking for a place to live, I do not recommend or suggest this community.
