Not secure!! Snow gets shoveled at 4 am with a group of screaming mexicans...old parked cars were never towed, and never moved the year i was there, this place is a mess! Complaints dont work here, they tell you no one else has complained. They let 8 people live in an apt. There only 2 bd. 800 sq ft. So you can imagine what that sounds like at 2 am.People leave doors open live and eat in hallways. Trash left in hallways, halls cleaned about once a month. People yelling all night, partying all the time in diffrent buildings, banging on walls, screaming ect. Only way to get things done is call police. They do respond.Shopping carts everywhere, grounds are messy the extra storage they tell you about on rent .com is a 4ft by 6ft closet of mesh chicken wire in the basement which is not secure and everyone can see what you have in there. laundry room consists of one washer and one dryer in the basement of each build. never available evan at 10pm.Manager Dave is incompetent.he cares about none of his tennants. I could go on about him, but If you move here you will find out. Everything is broken, or on its last leg. Cupboards dont shut, bathtubs and sinks leak, carpet is cheap and old. The new carpet is worse then the old. Old appliances, Air conditioners barley work like pulling teeth to get a new one. Ive been waiting since last summer for a new one in the bedroom.Workmanship is poor quality. I fix what I can myself.I've had numerous arguments with other tennants because they dont shut up,all night long 1:00am letting kids run in the halls and play. All buildings smell very bad. In winter heat barley works hot water running through a pipe with vents, I guess that is why its free. Bathrooms are disgusting. Floors are in bad shape tiles off, mold in some showers,My old medicine cabinet fell off wall and broke in the middle of the night, still has not been replaced.Parking lot plowed of snow 2-3 days after the snowfall. Only good thing is maintenence respondsin a reasonable amount of time, But they never fix anything on first try always have to come back. Im moving soon and not giving a notice and I will NEVER look back. This has been the worst year of my life living at Oak Mall apts.Oh and check out the sex offender website for MI.
