Review: The walls too thin is my biggest complaint. One plus is I never saw bugs other than ladybugs and the occasional spider. Didn't feel the neighborhood was safe - kept hearing about crime and the sirens keep you up at night. I wouldn't move here and I am pretty easy going when it comes to apartments... but the walls are just way too thin and the neighborhood makes you feel like you might get robbed if you decided to ever walk down to the corner Walgreens.

Review: These are very affordable, very spacious, and the floor plans are very modern and cute. The problem is the management...very slow to get problems solved, very shotty work, and you have to ask a MILLION times to get anything done.

Review: I've lived here at Autumnwood for 1 1/2 years and am moving because I got transferred with my job.I've really enjoyed living here.It's convenient to EVERYTHING!Management has always been friendly and helpful.Maintenance stays on top of any requests I've ever submitted.Love the fact that the apartments have washer/dryer included and microwave, too.People in the office always nice and responsive.

Review: We loved the villages up until our car was broken into right in front of our bedroom window.They say there is ample security patroling, but where were they when all this stuff was being done.It took the thieves at least 20 min. to break all our windows and get the stuff out.We talked to them about getting out of our lease b/c we feel unsafe and the told us we would have to pay them almost 1500 to move out.Keep in mind that we also have to pay to replace all the things in our car including the window.When we moved a neighbor told us her car was broken was stolen so it's not a rare thing.

Review: I just moved into this complex 12 days ago and already I am in a fight to preserve my quality of life.In the few days I have been here numerous things have come to pass.My refridgerator has rust in it, the seal around the refridgerator door is falling off, the appliances are from the 70's (based on the appearance), there is water damage on my ceiling (I am on the third floor), my air has gone out (the only thing I have been successful in repairing so far), and to top it all off, my kitchen and one of the bathroom floors needs to be ripped up.The building is on a hill and the settling of the ground has caused the building to shift in a manner that has contributed to damage of the floor.The building itself actually tilts down hill.They want me to stay in the apt while they put a band-aid fix on the floor, all while my boyfriend (who works at night) is there trying to get sleep during the day.I asked for and was granted a new apartment, but with all moving expenses left to me (when I just did this two weeks ago).There is only one person in the office that has cared about my situation and the corporate management company is the worst excuse for a management company I have ever encountered in my life.The contact didn't even have the courtesy to return my phone call; he had the one lady in the office that deserves a medal do it for him.When told that I would have to absorb the moving expenses myself or deal with the inconvenience of them in my apt all day, and/or during the evenings, to rip up the floor, I met nothing but opposition and rudeness, arrogance and irritability, and they flat out refused to even compromise with me regarding the expense.They knew of the problem beforehand (I substantiate this claim based on a conversation with the head maintenance person during which he acknowledged prior work on the foundation of the building because of the sliding of the hill) and no disclousure was made to me at any time, before the lease signing or now.The complex is beautiful and in a great neighborhood, but the unwillingness of management to accept responsibility for its own property is very disturbing.I would not reside here due to management's attitude alone.If you were to find yourself in a jam, you would be there by yourself.

Review: Before renting an apartment we viewed a model via a tour presented by a lady named Stephanie.You will soon learn that I'm not quite fond of her.She showed us a very nice apartment within our price range and we agreed to rent.Her sales service was great (guess it was the commission).N E who, the actual apartment we were renting was to be vacated soon, and we would be moving in.When this happened, we quickly learned that the apartment we moved in to was nothing like the one that had been presented to us.It was handicapped, had a damaged balcony, stained carpet, and unpainted walls.When we expressed our concerns about the quality, we were advised that there were no other apartments available, the walls were painted, & all of the balconies on the first levels are different than the model. Sure, nice to know after the lease is signed, and it wasn't painted.Seems to me like you would smell paint since it had only been empty for about a week.We had the option to leave at that time, but we didn't really have anywhere else to go on such short notice.So giving them the benefit of the doubt, we decided to stay. Bad move!Later in the year we contacted the office for some general question that I now can't even remember.Stephanie, (remember her, the sales lady) answered and was quick to give me incorrect information.She told me that we had a credit on our account that was like $60 or so less than our rent payment.

Review: It is true that the outside could definitely use some improvements and these apartments are older but i have no complaints at all.The staff have always been nice to me, maintenance is always prompt about fixing things, no rodents, and this is the best prices that i've ever heard of with a washer and dryer in unit and they pay for water!Can't beat it!As for the other comment about there being alot of minorities, if you do have a problem with that Bell Hollow probably doesn't want you there anyway!
