Review: I have lived in Steeplechase almost a year now and WILL NOT be signing with them again.The model home and entry way trick one into thinking this would be a great place to live; however, I have head many problems along the way:The apartment we moved into was far from looking like the model... the carpet was stained, the dishwasher rusted, the refrigerator had no shelves on the door, drawer and towel racks were dented or broken, and overall the apartment was very dumpy looking.We have had several other problems including the water being turned off for extended periods of time, the AC not working in the summer, the hear blowing cold air in the winter, the water main broke and the enter apartment flooded (something they have still not completely finished cleaning), the drawers broke, the toilets over flowed several times, and basically you have to get in good with the maintance men because it seems like they were at our

Review: I have had an absolutely wonderful experience at Windover.The best of any apartment complex I have lived in Knoxville.I have recommended it to 4other people and they all have enjoyed it just as much.We all still reside here.The office staff is extremely helpful and always friendly.The grounds and apartments are beautifully kept. Maintence is always done in a timely manner and security is wonderful.The neighbors are ideal and very mannerly.I hope you will consider windover as your next home so you can have the same enjoyment I have had~

Review: There is a lot of space in the one bedrooms.The kitchen is pretty large for an apartment and there are washer/dryer connections.They allow pets for a price.The neighborhood is quiet but the people are friendly.The leasing and maintenance staffers are very friendly and make an honest effort to get to know you.

Review: This place is full of nothing but loud college students and Hispanics. The "management staff" are liars and care nothing about their tenants. The only way you ever get anything but a recording is if youre late with your rent. I paid over $1500 and left 6 months short of my lease just to move somewhere I felt safe and could sleep at night. Don't believe anything they say about this place it is a nightmare. Unless of course you like having no place to park getting no sleep and can handle a police raid or two every now and then.

Review: Jefferson Commons has the rudest office staff I have ever dealt with.Our apartment was filthy when we moved in, and after we cleaned top to bottom for moveout they charged us $200. They gave us a new roommate with 1 day notice, then threw all of our stuff out of the spare room into the family room.DO NOT LIVE HERE, ITS AWFUL.

Review: The staff is spectacular, If I ever had any problems it was fixed within 2 days... and they really make the effort to make sure you are comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and the jogging trail aroung the lake is great for that early morning/evening dog walk, and if you want to get your dog out some more there are ten acres of woods with trails in them, along a stream just behind the lake...very dog friendly...the apartments themselves are very spacious brand new appliances, very clean, very cozy...dishwasher, laundry hook ups, garbage disposal, the best apartment i have ever lived in...makes me sad to leave(job transfer).

Review: The apartment itself was alright.A few months into my lease, the doors started breaking, water was leaking from my bathroom to the unit below mine, my screen door fell off, and my roof started falling in.This was all in an unchanged state for three to four months.We had to keep a bucket in front of our door at all times.We even had to get up in the middle of the night to empty it!The managers were well aware of the problem and failed to fix it.Much later, we were told that we could have another apartment in the complex when one became available--in a few months.We did not want to wait, nor did we approve of the other units that would eventually be available.We have moved out.I would never recommend this place to anyone!

Review: I lived in these apartments for two years and never had any major problems.Any minor maintenance issues were quickly taken care of and the office staff did an amazing job of helping to meet my needs on a regular basis.Now that I'mmoving, I'm meeting a lot of great people that were my neighbors, so whoever moves into my place will know good people!The 1 BR Loft apartment at this community is a very unique setup and was the selling point for me when I moved in.It's a great place to live!

Review: Washington Ridge is a great place to live. I loved the peaceful setting along with the wonderful lay out of my apartment. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. If I had any reason to need maintenance they were right there. I would tell anyone looking for an apartment they would not be disappointed living there.

Review: This is my first year here at Woodmeade.Overall, it's a great apartment.The layout is huge and very nice. It's close to UT, but far enough away from the school's congestion.The staff is really friendly and helpful.I haven't had a problem with any of them.They are really responsive, too.The grounds are nice, except for all the dog poop irresponsible owners don't pick up.NOTE: if you don't like animals, this isn't the place for you.There ARE tons of dogs, big and small.This place is VERY pet friendly, which is a plus.They even give out treats to the animals that visit the office.On the negative side, this place has terrible water quality.You MUST buy a water filter and/or shower filter if you want clean water to drink and chemical free water to wash your body and hair with. If not, say hello to dry, damaged hair, and itchy skin.Also on the negative side, if you're on the bottom floor, you can hear the neighbor's every move above you.Hopefully, they want be too noisy.The problem is the sqeeking. Sometimes you'd swear they're gonna fall in on you.Also, the bedrooms face the parking lot.So, that means lots of bright headlights in the middle of the night and hearing people stomp across the pavement to their apartments (Get THICK curtains).It's kinda stupid that the bedrooms aren't in the back.If you want to use the fitness facility, make sure you have the up to date code because they change it like the wind, which I haven't figured out why.Also, when I worked out there, I noticed a bunch of dead flies.The apartments are sprayed with pesticides frequently.I have NEVER seen a roach here, but I have seen a few small creatures native to Knoxville.Back on the animal note, there are raccoons, hedgehogs, and feral cats in abundance. If you're a person who doesn't like any kind of animal, this is not the place.The hills are beautiful, though.Plus, you get the advantage of seeing the fireworks display put on by the city from the comfort of your own home.If you can't buy tickets to a UT football game, you can hear the crowd and referees from here.I feel pretty safe here.I've never run into anything.I have heard of some car break-ins and maybe 1 apartment.Still, I feel comfortable out and about alone.Even though it's a normal sized complex, you notice who lives here and who doesn't.But overall, if I had to pick a place to live in Knoxville all over again, this would be the place.

Review: The leasing office is so rude. They do not care about their residents at all.I had a huge spider problem, my neighbor found a snake in her jeans and a lizard in the kitchen. My upstairs neighbor got locked out on a Sunday and contacted the office, they said since it was a Sunday and not business hours that it wasn't an emergency, and did not come help him in. You will pay way too much money for this dump, it is not worth it, they will continue to jack up the prices on you.These people need serious customer service help, it is really pitiful.

Review: I am 10 days away from finishing up my year lease and I must say I can hardly contain myself- I am SOO excited to be leaving!!!After about 2 weeks I realized that this place was a problem.The building was brand new this year and looked so beautiful that I thought this was going to be the best place to live.After those 2 weeks it started falling apart.Some apartments I found out were still being built and ppl were living in them.The students trash the place, there is always puke/beer/spit/blood/trash in the elevators/halls/stairwells and maintenance takes forever to clean it up.If something breaks in your apartment prepare to put in 100 requests to have it fixed or learn to do it yourself.The fire alarms go off sometimes 3 times in one day and as many as 10 times a week.Management is HORRIBLE and could care a less about their residents.The students working in the office are extremely rude.The security does nothing about noise violations, parties, students trashing the place, in fact they are pretty much useless...yet when there is a party you can sometimes find them out there socializing.The elevators are constantly broken.You have assigned parking yet its $50 extra a month and your spot may very well be taken many times due to the fact that the garage gates break all the time and never get fixed so anyone can come in, as well as the lobby door broke and stayed opened up, letting anyone in for many weeks.You must have your student ID to go ANYWHERE in the building: your apartment, the courtyard (both in and out), the gym, computer labs, etc. And if you accidentally leave your card in your apartment is about a $35 fee to be let into your apartment.The rent is waay overpriced and this building is nothing more than a glorified dorm- right down to the fact you must go out to let your guests in and out as well as they do random room checks although they claim its just to check on something random and they hide the notices so sometimes you do not know they are coming.Management will do anything to get money out of you.This place seemed very promising yet has let me down as well as many other residents.If you are smart you will RUN from this place.
