East<br>Atascocita, TX<br><br>Overall Rating: 2 (out of 5)<br><br><strong>Review:</strong> When I moved here, the make-ready cleaning wasn't very thorough (found stiff pizza chunks under the range-oven and pubic hair/lint/crumbs under all other appliances - I cleaned it without complaint.Had to have the bathroom tiles reglued to the floor, but the linoleum in the kitchen is doing the same thing now - coming up from floor.My really bad experience started when my truck was towed (by management's contractee) because my lowered tailgate extended into a vaguely marked tow away curb zone, yet managment doesn't enforce covered parking and refuses to repair the entry gates or courtyard lights (both broken since 11/2003). Come by and check out a few of the abandoned broke down cars rusting in the parking lot that should have been towed long ago.Speed breakers are BADLY needed - too many careless speeders/drivers in the complex.I too got the AC filter song and dance when my AC was running continuously.I had to deal with it myself finally and discovered that the AC coils had crusty black mold & lint clogging it up (had to kill and remove it myself). Month-to-Month rent is not an affordable option here and the Lease Termination Agreement is Robbery (125% of rent penalty due at move out) and 60 day notice or 60 day advance lease renewal is required.These people only want your money and have demonstrated no desire to give the service expected in a luxury apartment complex.The ONLY nice thing I have to say about this place is the floorplan was nice and the view of a wooded courtyard off the balcony was relaxing. Even that had its downfall sometimes with the sights of beer cans/liter, smells of dog poo and cig/pot smokers, and the disrespectfulness of some residents with foul language and noise levels.
